Jaguar XE REALCAR and Jaguar F-Pace Are Trendsetters in Use of Aluminum
In its XE and F-Pace cars, Jaguar has raised the bar for the use of aluminum in the automotive world. The Jaguar XE REALCAR project has recycled 50,000 tons of aluminum and prevented over 500,000 tons of CO2 emissions. The 2017 Jaguar F-Pace, built off the Land Rover D7a architecture, is 80% aluminum. The company’s goal is to use 75% recycled aluminum in its car bodies by 2020.
